He carried out all the work personally, being self-taught in plastering and carpentry. This process continued until he was able to dispose of a sizeable portfolio of domestic residences and move into care homes and subsequently residential property development. The result was Swan Homes and today he continues to take a personal interest in all aspects of the business to ensure that his original values still prevail today. Maureen has played a significant role in the development of Swan Homes since its launch over 20 years ago and has been the inspiration behind the type and style of property constructed by Swan Homes.  She has built an enviable track record in new-build sales having worked previously for a leading regional house builder, marketing homes ranging from city living apartments to large developments across Yorkshire and eventually becoming sales manager in the process. A Politics and Economics graduate of Birmingham University, Tariq is TLB’s acquisitions director, handling deals across the UK, including London. Prior to and during his studies in Birmingham, he was substantially involved in the development of TLB and gained hands on site experience, including qualifications to operate most grades of construction site vehicles.
